It was a laundry morning (meaning the camp laundry goes out), and hidden among the over stuffed bags of laundry strewn across cabin porches, was a surprise…. On Girls Side, Color War “broke” the morning of August 1. It’s also the ultimate culmination of the Soopers and Upper Seniors camper careers, and their time to take everything they’ve learned at Scatico to serve as leaders. or the countless moments, interactions, and competitions that make Color War what it is. It’s the perfecting closing camp event, in which every kid gets their unique moment to shine- whether that’s creatively, athletically, through their leadership, through their friendship.
